Salon Solis – Colourist Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Colourist to join our high-class professional Hair Salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair artistry, 5-10 years experience with Hair Colour, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Hair Colourist, you will be responsible for creating customized hair color solutions that enhance our clients’ natural beauty while providing an exceptional salon experience. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work in a vibrant, client-focused environment, with BEST Commissions in the City of Toronto!

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their hair coloring needs and desired outcomes
  • Perform hair coloring services including highlights, balayage, root touch-ups, and creative color techniques
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
  • Provide expert advice on hair care and maintenance to clients
  • Upsell retail hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere
  • Assist front desk staff with appointment scheduling and client inquiries as needed
  • Stay updated on the latest hair coloring trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education

Experience:

  • Proven 5-10 year experience as a Hair Colourist or similar role in a professional salon setting
  • Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, products, and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Experience with retail sales and up-selling to promote product lines
  • Prior experience working at the front desk or handling client appointments is a plus
  • Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and professionalism at all times
